COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The promoter is: Life On Hold Ltd (company no.12575711) whose registered office is at 15 Salisbury St, Bristol.

  2. The competition is open to residents from the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Hey! What?, Duchess Media and Life On Hold and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

  3. The student prize is open to university and college students studying design, illustration, animation or art in the United Kingdom. Entrants to the student category must either live in Bristol or be prepared to travel to Bristol and find their own accommodation if necessary.

  4. Entry is via a £4 minimum donation.

  5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  6. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via lifeonhold.org

  7. The competition will be featured on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

  8. Enter as many times as you like by donating a minimum £4 per download from the lifeonholdremix.com site.

  9. Closing date for entry will be 12th June 2020 After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

  10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

  11. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    To enter go to www.lifeonholdremix.com and choose one or more of our key artists designs or illustrations and donate a minimum of £4 per download. You must then remix the downloaded piece and upload it to the lifeonholdremix.com site to enter. Only work that is resubmitted to lifeonholdremix.com will be valid for entry. We have the right to refuse any entry if we deem the work to be inappropriate or offensive.

  12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

  13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  14. The prize is as follows:
    1 year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (worth nearly £600)
    4 x runners up prizes - collection of 10 key artist prints of your choice  (worth £250 each)
    Student prize: £500 plus 2 weeks work experience with Hey! What?

  15. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  16. Winners will be chosen in a judging process from all entries received and verified and judged by the promoter and or its agents. 

  17. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/Linkedin within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

  18. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

  19. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  20. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  21. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

  22. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  23. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  24. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Life On Hold and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at lifeonhold.org/privacy

  25. Life On Hold shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
